The Story of Byron
Byron is our darkest red. Not a bright post-box red, not a Christmas red — a slow, wine-stained scarlet that settles into the weave and only shows its warmth up close, in lamplight, at the cuff and the hem.
The gold is deliberately quiet. We dye it two shades below what the mill first offered, so it reads as brass rather than yellow. It ages the piece by a decade before you've worn it once.
Knitted in the Scottish Borders from 100% lambswool, hand-linked at the shoulder, and washed in soft Border water. The scarlet and gold trim runs a single band at the hem and both cuffs — a house mark, not a logo.
